The RGS Racing Team enjoyed an eventful and exciting weekend at the fourth of eight races in the ADAC MX Masters Series 2024, held at the Bielsteiner Waldkurs. Despite some challenges, particularly with the variable weather on Saturday morning, the event was a great success.
MX Master, Samuel Flink: Samuel faced difficulties in the qualifying round, leading him to the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ). Thanks to the excellent traction of his Gibson Tyre, he secured a holeshot and maintained second place. In the main races, he showed steady improvement, finishing 35th, 33rd, and 35th.
MX Youngster Cup, Linus Persson: It was a tough weekend for Linus. He struggled with the track during qualifying and secured only the 25th starting position. In the races, he finished 23rd, 39th, and 24th, missing out on the points. We are confident he will bounce back in Tensfeld.
MX Youngster Cup, Junior Bal: Still recovering from an injury, Junior showed a cautious approach in qualifying, ending up in 32nd place. Despite this, he delivered a strong performance in the first race, finishing 17th and earning four championship points. However, he couldn’t replicate this in the subsequent races, finishing 24th and 23rd. His overall ranking was 21st, a solid start with hopes for a Top 10 finish in Tensfeld.
MX Junior Cup 85, Milo Brännström: Milo made a strong comeback after a long injury break. He secured 15th place in qualifying. Despite a tough start in the first race, he fought his way to 26th. On Sunday, he improved significantly, finishing 16th in both races. We are proud that Milo will represent Sweden at the Junior MX World Championship.
The RGS Racing Team extends its gratitude to ADAC Nordrhein e.V. and MSC Drabenderhöhe-Bielstein e.V. for their excellent organization of the event. The dedicated efforts of the organizers and the fantastic support from the fans greatly contributed to the successful weekend. We look forward to applying the insights gained in future races and continuing to deliver strong performances.
