Excitement and Team Cohesion: Youngsters Shine on the MC Jauer Track

The RGS Racing Team experienced an eventful weekend at the seventh of eight races in the 2024 ADAC MX Masters Series, held at the MC Jauer track in Saxony. With sunny weather and pleasant temperatures around 25 degrees Celsius, numerous enthusiastic fans gathered, creating a fantastic atmosphere both on and off the track. Thanks to the spacious and well-organized paddock areas, the team was able to operate under optimal conditions.

MX Master, Samuel Flink: Unfortunately, it was another challenging weekend for Samuel. He struggled to find his rhythm in both the qualifying and the Last Chance Race (LCQ), which led to an early exit from the event after the LCQ. Despite this setback, Samuel was a great support to his teammates, assisting wherever he could.

MX Master, Eric Schwella: Eric delivered an impressive performance in the qualifying session, posting a very good time. With a limited number of riders in the Youngster Cup, a Last Chance Race was held only for the Masters class. Eric had a mediocre start in the LCQ but fought his way up to 11th place, which would have secured his qualification. Unfortunately, three laps before the end, his brakes failed, causing him to lose several positions and miss out on qualifying for the main races.

MX Youngster Cup, Linus Persson: Linus felt comfortable on the Jauer track and significantly improved his performance compared to Gaildorf, despite dealing with a minor arm injury from a training accident last week. He secured a strong 5th place in his qualifying group, earning direct entry into the races. However, in the first race on Saturday, a poor start and a crash resulted in a DNF. On Sunday, he managed to recover from a mediocre start in the second race to finish 22nd, narrowly missing out on points. In the third race, Linus performed better, finishing 17th and securing important points in the highly competitive class. This performance gives hope for the season finale in Holzgerlingen, where he currently stands in 22nd place in the championship.

MX Youngster Cup, Junior Bal: Junior made a strong statement on Saturday by securing 12th place in his qualifying group, which earned him direct entry into the races. In the first race, he showed consistent performance and finished 16th, collecting valuable championship points. On Sunday, a poor start in the second race saw him fight his way back to 21st, just missing out on points. In the third race, he had a solid start and managed to gain several positions, finishing in a strong 13th place. Junior felt good on the track and is optimistic about improving his starts for the upcoming races. He currently sits in 23rd place in the championship standings.

The RGS Racing Team would like to thank all the organizers and the MC Jauer for the excellent execution of the weekend. The smooth organization and fantastic fan support significantly contributed to a successful event. We look forward to bringing the experience gained into the finale in Holzgerlingen and continuing to deliver strong performances.
