The RGS Racing Team experienced a sunny and eventful weekend at the sixth of eight races in the 2024 ADAC MX Masters Series, held at the “Auf der Wacht” track by MSC Gaildorf. Unlike last year, when the event had to be canceled due to heavy rain, this time the weather was perfect with sunny skies and temperatures around 25 degrees. The numerous fans created a fantastic atmosphere, further enhanced by the legendary party tent, where not only the teams but also some riders were spotted.
MX Master, Samuel Flink: It was a challenging weekend for Samuel. He struggled to find his flow in both qualifying and the Last Chance Race (LCQ), which meant that his participation ended after the LCQ. Despite this setback, Samuel was fully supportive of his teammates throughout the event.
MX Youngster Cup, Linus Persson: Linus managed to qualify directly with a 19th place finish in his group. Unfortunately, he couldn’t reach his potential during the races and missed out on points, finishing 31st, 32nd, and 27th. The track didn’t suit him, and he couldn’t perform at his best.
MX Youngster Cup, Junior Bal: Junior delivered a strong performance on Saturday, securing direct qualification. In the first race, he had a good start and maintained a steady pace, finishing 17th and earning championship points. Sunday was more challenging; a crash in the second race’s first lap forced him to fight his way back to 28th place, but that was all he could manage. In the third race, he had a solid start but lost a few positions early on, recovering to finish 23rd, but unfortunately without any points. Overall, he felt good on the track and is optimistic about performing better in Jauer.
The RGS Racing Team extends its thanks to MSC Gaildorf and all the organizers for their excellent management of the weekend. The well-organized paddock areas and fantastic fan support contributed significantly to a successful event. We look forward to applying the experience gained in upcoming races and continuing to deliver strong performances.
